01Literal Translation (VI)
Bài kinh Pali cổ cung thỉnh 28 vị Cổ Phật và các bậc Đại A-la-hán hộ trì xung quanh hành giả.
02Deeper Doctrinal, Philosophical & Meditative Exegesis (VI)
Composed/codified in the mid-19th century by Somdej Phra Buddhacharn (Toh Phromrangsi) of Wat Rakhang from an ancient Lanna/Sinhalese Pali manuscript (Jinapanjara Gatha).
Across 15 stanzas, the chant constructs a sacred architectural mandala around the practitioner's body: placing the 28 past Buddhas (from Taṇhaṅkara to Gotama) upon the crown of the head, the Dhamma at the eyes, Arahant Ananda at the abdomen, Sariputta on the right, Moggallana on the left, Kondanna behind, and the major Paritta suttas (Ratana, Metta, Angulimala, Dhajagga, Bojjhanga, Mora, Atanatiya) as a seven-tiered wall and canopy ('the Victor's Cage').
