佛历2497年（1954年）由北大年府沧海寺（Wat Chang Hai）阿赞添大师在督造首期108种草药龙婆托时正式传授。在泰南佛教传统中，龙婆托被尊奉为修持菩萨道之大菩萨（Bodhisatto），全咒仅14个巴利音节，字字凝练。
