Invocation of the Sacred Bull guardian figure (Pali: Gona)
Na-Ma-Pa-Tha · Ja-Pha-Ka-Sa · Puttha-Sang-Mi
Establishing the 4 Elements and 4 Elemental Supports under the Three Refuges (used in Hun Payon consecration)
01Literal Translation (EN)
Combines the Pali invocation Om Khonuno Maha-Khonuno(from Pali Gona, bull) for the Wua Thanu of Luang Phor Noi (Wat Srisathong, Nakhon Pathom) with the elemental formula ('Na-Ma-Pa-Tha · Ja-Pha-Ka-Sa · Puttha-Sang-Mi') for the woven Hun Payon of Ajahn Loy Pho Ngern (Ayutthaya) and Por Than Kloi (Khao Or).
Luang Phor Noi of Wat Srisathong molded miniature Wua Thanu over a wire armature coated in sacred jujube-tree lac resin (Khrang Putsa Ton Tod Thit Tawan Ok), while Northern Lanna masters wove bamboo-strip Wua Thanu (Wua Thanu Mai Phai) and Ayutthaya master Ajahn Loy wove silver/copper wire and Bailan into Hun Payon.
