01Literal Translation (EN)
Synthesizes the invocation of Phra Narais Sudarshana discus (Narayanassa Cakkavudhang) with the Garuda heart verse (Kharupica Kitimantang) and the Buddhist elemental and Five-Buddha seals (Na-Ma-Pa-Tha · Namo Putthaya').
The iconography of Phra Narai Song Krut(Vishnu riding Garuda, often depicted above Phra Rahu and flanked by Nagas) derives from Lopburi Khmer stone lintels and the royal gables (หน้าบัน) of Ayutthaya and Rattanakosin ordination halls.
In contemporary numismatics, the motif is famously represented by the Wat Traimit Phra Narai Song Krut Pratab Phra Rahu medallions consecrated by Chao Khun Thongchai.
