01Literal Translation (EN)
Centers on the famous four-syllable Khom seed formula Su-Na-Mo-Lo(Hua Jai Khun Phaen), engraved on the reverse of Phra Khun Phaen tablets and Takrud across Central and Eastern Thailand.
While the tablets themselves depict the historical Buddha seated in Maravijaya within a five-sided Ayutthaya pavilion arch (Sum Ruean Kaew, as found at Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon BE 2135 and Wat Ban Krang in Suphan Buri), collector tradition named the mould after the literary hero Khun Phaen of Suphan Buri and paired it with the four-syllable heart mantra Su-Na-Mo-Lo.
