Traditional 6-syllable Paccekabuddha heart formula of the Wat Bang Nom Kho lineage
01Literal Translation (EN)
The historic Paccekabuddha stanza('Wira Thayo Wira Khonayang...') originally received by Luang Phor Parn Sonanto (Wat Bang Nom Kho) from Lay Master Phueng in BE 2470, later combined with preceding Pali verses by his foremost disciple Phra Ratchaphromyan (Luang Phor Ruesi Lingdam, Wat Tha Sung).
In traditional monastic practice, this verse is strictly paired with daily Dana (placing alms-coins into a monastic offering bowl each morning before chanting), emphasizing that ethical generosity (Dana-parami) and dispassion (Viraga / non-harming Virahingsa) are the doctrinal foundation of the chant.
